強い存在感を放つ彫刻的な造形は、NORIKO HERRONの創作の源である自然界のエネルギーと重なります。

今回の展示では、波打つようなガラスの起伏を象徴的なモチーフとし、その造形をさらに深化させるとともに、デザインのバリエーションも広げました。身に纏うときも、空間に置かれたときも、それぞれの作品が放つエネルギーや存在感を感じていただけると幸いです。

この夏は西ヨーロッパを巡りその後、かねてより訪れたいと願っていたアイスランドへ向かいます。人の力では抗うことのできない地球のエネルギーに触れたとき、それがこれからの制作にどのような変化をもたらしてくれるのか、私自身とても楽しみにしています。

The sculptural forms, with their powerful presence, reflect the energy of the natural world that lies at the heart of NORIKO HERRON's creative practice.

For this exhibition, I have further developed these forms by taking the undulating contours of glass as a central motif, while expanding the range of design variations. Whether worn on the body or quietly placed within a space, I hope each piece conveys its own distinct energy and presence.

This summer, I will travel through Western Europe before continuing on to Iceland, a place I have long wished to visit. I am excited to experience the immense forces of nature—an energy beyond human control—and to discover how that encounter may influence and transform my future work.
