Inspired by the ever-changing beauty of nature and the immense forces that shape it, these works reflect fluid, organic forms and the traces of time.

During a stay in Venice, I was captivated by the weathered surfaces of historic walls, where layers of plaster had peeled away over decades. Wanting to preserve a fragment of that experience, I developed this series of sculptural wall art.

 

Created on wooden panels with layered plaster and lime plaster, each piece incorporates reclaimed glass fragments, exploring the texture and depth that emerge from the interplay of contrasting materials.

In quiet resonance with NORIKO HERRON’s glass sculptures, these sculptural wall works respond to light and their surroundings, blurring the boundary between art object and interior space.

刻一刻と移りゆく自然が見せる造形美。

人の力では抗うことのできない、大自然の果てしないエネルギーが生み出す現象に美しさを感じ、その流動的で有機的なフォルムを作品へと投影しています。

イタリア・ヴェネツィア滞在中、時を重ねた建築の壁が幾重にも剥がれ、露わになった層の表情に強く惹かれました。その記憶の断片を持ち帰り、日常の中で静かに眺めたい......そんな想いからこのシリーズは生まれました。

木製ボードに石膏や漆喰を重ね、ガラスの端材を組み込むことで、異素材が生み出す質感と奥行きを表現しています。

​

壁面に浮かぶ彫刻のような存在として、光や空間と呼応しながら表情を変え、アートとインテリアの境界を越えて空間に溶け込みます。
